Launch Party with ALISON HART at Books Inc. Alameda

Local author Alison Hart joins Books Inc. in Alameda for a Launch Party in celebration of her stunning collection of poetry,Temp Words. A meditation on impermanence told from Alison’s perspective as an American of mixed-race, Temp Wordsreflects themes such as death, outrage, temptation, identity, and transcendence.

This event is co-sponsored by MISSSEY, an Oakland-based non-profit organization with the mission of ending child exploitation and helping victims regain the joy and confidence of life.
